Otherwise, uploaders would be allowed to upload C.P. But saying their goal is access to all knowledge is a lie. At least Internet Archive does not have C.P. Which is why journalists are having to use the dark web for uploading their content that exposes war crimes. So, Internet Archive is not a safe haven for journalists who expose war crimes billionaires cause for the New World Order. Internet Archive's administrators are deleting uploads that expose corrupt governments without uploaders' permission. I would not recommend this site to pirates, journalists exposing government documents illegally, and people wanting full power over their uploads. But now, it's become a hypocritical company with lies and giving users less power to control their uploads. It used to be better when users were allowed to delete their own media. All of these things and their lack of letting users delete their own media are why I am not supporting Internet Archive anymore. Why are they making it hard to access books and videos, then? So much for open-source. Right-click the 'Save Page Now' field and select Paste to insert the copied URL. On a computer, highlight the URL and press Cmd + C (Mac) or Ctrl + C (PC) to copy. Why are they doing copyright strikes on accounts uploading content illegally, then? So much for access to all knowledge when illegal content gets removed. To get the full URL to the site you want to archive, visit that site in a web browser, and then copy the address from the bar along the top of the screen. They claim their goal is "universal access to all knowledge". Why are they having the ability for users to donate money, then? So much for non-profit when money is being made regardless. IA Engineers manage the repository software, archival data, and access services provided to researchers and the general public. They claim to be non-profit. Sun engineers monitor power, heating and cooling, fire, smoke, and water detection, and physical access points, and dispatch repair technicians, if necessary. Sun’s servers with Solaris ZFS storage pools enabled the Internet Archive to double the storage capacity of its old system while using up to 50 percent less power than other servers would use. It is equipped with 60 Sun Fire X4500 (Thumper) Open Storage Systems that run the Solaris 10 OS, including the Solaris ZFS file system. The new Sun MD was installed in March 2009. Recently, the Internet Archive invested in Sun’s open storage server and software technologies, specifically a Sun Modular Datacenter (Sun MD), installed at Sun’s Santa Clara campus, supported by the Sun MD remote monitoring service. Usage of IA’s web collections via the Wayback machine average 400-500 requests per second. This archival database expands with the Internet, and so grows by nearly 100TBs (compressed) every month. IA’s web archives now exceed 2PBs of data (compressed) and encompass over 150billion captures collected from 1996 to the present culled from every domain, over 200 million web sites and 40+ languages.
